Program for Augmented Reality

PLANIFICATION OF AUGMENTED
REALITY BY THE OUTSIDERS.

INTRODUCTION
This project is basically about bringing Augmented Reality closer to children.
What is Augmented Reality? Augmented Reality allows us to add layers of
visual information about the real world around us, using technology, devices
such as our own mobile phones. This helps us generate experiences that
provide relevant knowledge about our environment, and we also receive that
information in real time. Through Augmented Reality the virtual world intermingles
with the real world, in a contextualized way, and always with the aim of better
understanding everything around us.

PROGRAMMING
To develop this activity properly we have downloaded the Chrome Ville app on
our phones. From here, we have chosen a template corresponding to the water
cycle, in which children will have to color and then use to see the elements
through the mobile application. This application will allow children to more easily
understand the water cycle thanks to Augmented Reality. Apart from this, we have
prepared a mural about the water cycle in 3D, where its four corresponding phases
and all the necessary elements appear. In addition, we will have 2 visual supports,
a video and a powerpoint, to facilitate and energize learning.
The process will begin with the explanation of the water cycle with the support of
the video and the 3D mural, from here the children will start to play with the different
games we have prepared, placing the corresponding phases in their respective
sections, and once this is achieved, will start coloring the cardboard and using our
mobile phones (Chrome Ville).

TEMPLATE OF CHROME VILLE:

OBJECTIVES:
The objectives we can mainly classify in two, since one would be for the child to
learn didactically the cycle of water and the other would be that through play, the
child learns to use new technologies and especially Augmented Reality to facilitate
didactics and make learning more fun. That is why we have played different games
in which we aim to keep the child’s attention to make learning fun.
Game 1:
We have to divide the class in two groups and we give crowns with the name of
the different elements , which participate in the water cycle like the sun , the river.
Children will try to guess this elements using ask like:
  • Can i heat the water?
  • Can i give water to the rivers?

Elements: Sea , Rivers , High Mountains, Precipitations, High Temperature , Low
Temperature , Condensation….

Goal:
The goal of this game are that children have to participate with the information that
teacher explain before and remembering they can improve their knowledge about
this topic.

Game 2: PASAPALABRA.

For this game we divide the class in two teams, and teachers start to ask questions,
the team which respond wheel more questions will be the winner.

The dynamic is like the game of Pasapalabra , the teacher ask something and the
team which slap before can respond the question , and the other team have a
rebound. Goal: Children will have to remember all the explication and refresh the
information.

Game 3:
After explain the app , the two team have to make an explication about the water
cycle. While one team is explaining the process , the other team have to put
attention on the explication and every students will have to make one questions
before the explication.

Goal:

With this game , students can reinforce their knowledge.
