Hello class 👋👀!! We are Miguel and Carmen Rocío and this week we are in
charge of the translator role🙌. Today, we have to elaborate 5 definitions
according to the task 8 that we had worked this week.
-PLE ⇒ Personal Learning Environment. It can be defined as a pedagogical
approach to learn in a multimedia way. Some of the parts that can constitute
the PLE of a person are mainly the family, the local network, tools and the
information sources among others.
-PLN ⇒Personal learning network. We've decided to use this definition
as it's completely clear what the concept is: “The combination of tools,
sources of information, connections and activities each person uses
regularly to learn” (Adell and Castañeda, 2010) .
It consider that a person must learn with someone else, not from someone else.
-YouTube ⇒ Is an online platform/social network where “youtubers” upload
videos to their subscribers or for anybody interested in their content.
-Podcast ⇒ A podcast is an audio programme similar to a radio where you
subscribe to the different podcast it is like a mixture of a radio programme
and Youtube.
-Online announcement board ⇒ It is a tool that has the function of creating an interaction between students and teachers in a digital platform that offers the possibility of creating collaborative walls. This tool offers a range of possibilities to develop different educational resources.
By just creating an account, you can start setting up an activity wall and provide
the students with the link so they can access and start publishing their contributions
in the different formats that the tool allows: text, audio, video or image.
The digital website that it's the most common is Padlet.
