TRANSLATOR WEEK 8

Hi guys we are Carmen and Jorge and we are going to be de translators this week. We hope you enjoy the post 
here you have the five core terms i have chosen for this week, in relationships with the comic on which we have been working this week 

1. Cartoon: a simple drawing showing the features of its subjects in a humorously exaggerated way, especially a satirical one in a newspaper or magazine.

2. Vignette: a small illustration or portrait photograph which fades into its background without a definite border.

3. onomatopoeia: the formation of a word from a sound associated with what is named

 

4. Ilustration: an example serving to clarify or prove something

5. Speech balloon: graphic convention used commonly in comic books, comics and cartoons to allow words to be understood as representing the speech or thoughs of a given character in the comic
