Star role week 6

Hello!👋🙋 We are Carmen Rocío and Marta Milán and this week we are the stars. We are a bit sad because unfortunately we could only do this activity on Tuesday due to the coronavirus😷.
Despite this, we have been fortunate to be able to present all of our activities with children😃. 
But anyway, today we are going to talk about how it was our last activity of Codey Rocky🤖in "Un día en el cole de mi maestro".

First of all, we introduced ourselves 👋 and made a brief introduction about what we were going to do💬. The most important thing to work with Codey Rockey was to know some basic concepts before starting, and firstly we talked to them about the ‘event’, which is the stimulus that the robot has to receive to carry out the ‘sequence’, a term that we will describe below.

After this, we explained how they had to code the robot to create different movements, and they understood it faster than ourselves!😪🙊🙆

Secondly, we went to the next step, which was the concept of ‘sequence’, that is the set of actions that you have programmed for the robot to perform when receiving the specific stimulus. We explained the difference between the event and the sequence, so they could distinguish the different terms.

Finally, the aim of our task was to make children understand how the robot worked, so we designed two circuits⛔🚧. The first one was a triangle that represented an island with pirates who were looking for a treasure, in which the robot had to follow the red line.

 And the second one was based on Mario Kart, in which the robot had to follow the black line.

Finally, we wanted to say that these days have been very important for us 😇😊since we have put into practice something of what we will be in the future, teachers🙌📙. All the children of the different schools have been kind, active and have surprised us by wanting to do everything we asked to them.
