TRANSLATOR WEEK 10 ADRIÁN and SERGIO

Hi everybody! πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‰ after our easter's recess we are back again!πŸ˜†
this week we have been working on an infographic, and as we had the role of translators this week, we've come up with five terms that we found particularly interesting. πŸ˜„

here they are:

Design-based research: is a type of research methodology used by researchers in the learning sciences, which is a sub-field of education. The basic process of DBR involves developing solutions (called "interventions") to problems. Then, the interventions are put to use to test how well they work. The iterations may then be adapted and re-tested to gather more data. The purpose of this approach is to generate new theories and frameworks for conceptualizing learning, instruction, design processes, and educational reform. Data analysis often takes the form of iterative comparisons.

In schools, action research refers to a wide variety of evaluative, investigative, and analytical research methods designed to diagnose problems or weaknesses—whether organizational, academic, or instructional—and help educators develop practical solutions to address them quickly and efficiently. Action research may also be applied to programs or educational techniques that are not necessarily experiencing any problems, but that educators simply want to learn more about and improve. The general goal is to create a simple, practical, repeatable process of iterative learning, evaluation, and improvement that leads to increasingly better results for schools, teachers, or programs.

Infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data, or knowledge intended to present information quickly and clearly. They can improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system's ability to see patterns and trends

4 technological competence: the ability to create and use a particular field of technology  effectively, which is gained through extensive experimentation and learning in its research, development and employment in production.

Correlational research: is a type of non-experimental research method, in which a researcher measures two variables, understands and assess the statistical relationship between them with no influence from any extraneous variable.

we hope that you find them useful and that you will like our infographic!

keep safe! πŸ‘¦πŸ‘₯✌
